  1. Uh oh......I wonder what issue or scandal they need to get their arms around now before the next meeting?

  2. They probably know which schools are going to close and are afraid to announce it.

  3. Lawrence can't stand the heat he took in November so he cancels the meeting with parents. Transparency just got a fresh coat of opague paint. When is this new Board going to stand up and demand real transparency, openness and honesty ?

  4. LOL. He cancels the parents meeting so he can host a party for Allen and Strange. Go figure.

  5. I'm sorry, I'm typically a MDUSD defender but this meeting cancellation technique employed by Lawrence has gotten out of control.

  6. Guess he figures he can put out a couple of fluffy emails a month and hide in his cave.

  7. Were any of you at the November meeting? What heat did he take? He barely spoke because two presentations took up most of the time.

This blog is turning into the MDUSD Complainers but do nothing blog.

    Sorry MDUSD Parents!

  8. @anon 10:03 He may not have spoke much, but he is going to take the heat for setting up the Student Achievement department to replace the Curriculum department with so much helter skelter activity. Its clear there are not four wheels on that new bus.

  9. Lawrence is smart enough to count to FIVE. New Trustee Dennler has already expressed opposition to the new Program set up by Lawrence as the Student Achievement Department. Gary expressed his reservations as detailed questions that weren't supportive of it. Cheryl hasn't expressed any positive thoughts except that there should be less administration. Sherry gave a less than enthusiastic report on this blog. Surprisingly Linda has not endorsed it. I count 5-0 against this program which Lawrence is betting the farm.

  10. I want to know more about this mildred brown scandal. sure does sound shady to me. A person with her job should not be asking for gifts.

  11. anon 1:23,

Its just the latest scandal to be brushed under the rug by the current board. Don't let this single one upset you to much, there are dozens of others.
