After Labor Day it will also be available online (which is a good thing if you're a Directv subscriber).

You can also check out her recap here.

She notes, in part, the following about the MDUSD race:

BUYER'S REMORSE: Mt. Diablo School Board candidate Jan Trezise surprised everybody during her on-air closing statement when she said she was so impressed with the quality of other candidates that she had decided at that moment to drop out of the race.

What viewers don't see on camera is her request right after the show to have her statement removed.

Sorry. We do not edit candidates' closing statements.

So, is Ms. Trezise interested in being a board member , or not?

  1. Lisa V asked good questions and the answers were informative. Three candidates stand out - all of them have children or grandchildren in the district or worked for the district, and want to bring needed responsibility and collaboration to the board:
    1. CHERYL HANSEN, former teacher and principal in MDUSD and other districts, now works for County Office of Education training principals.
    2. JEFF ADAMS, district parent.
    3. ROY LARKIN, district grandparent, has experience turning around failing companies.

Signed, Going To Vote For Better MDUSD

  2. It was an interesting forum. Hansen, I felt, stood head and shoulders above the others. It would be good to have a professional educator on the board particularly in these difficult times

  3. Any relationship between Ms. Hansen and the Local One union leader Ron Hansen?

  4. 9:31, I believe I was told by someone that she is his sister. Though I thought he was retired?
